I worked at the Ole Rømer Observatory as a part time job when I was studying astronomy at Aarhus University.
The observatory is placed in the southan part of Aarhus (Højbjerg) right next to the horse race track. There are to domes at the observatory. One is covering two 28cm Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes mostly used for public lectures. The other dome is covering an old 50cm Cassegrain telescope which is just about to be renewed with updated software and a new CCD camera.
The public lectures are free and besides a one hour talk about various astronomical subjects the visitors would see the 28cm telescopes and if weather conditions were good they would get to see some of the seasonal astronomical objects.

The image above shows the Ole Rømer Observatory with the comet Hale-Bopp above the building.
